Clinical Strategies for Gynaecology and Oncology

Join world-renowned acupuncturist Kiiko Matsumoto for an exceptional, hands-on workshop focusing on gynaecological conditions and oncology patient care. This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from a living master of acupuncture, known for her palpation-based, results-driven approach.

Why Attend?

  • Master KMS Techniques – Learn Kiiko’s innovative, palpation-based methods for treating menstrual disorders, PCOS, infertility, hormonal imbalances, pain, and more — using gentle and effective strategies.
  • Hands-On Learning – Practise abdominal palpation (hara diagnosis) to identify root causes and deliver personalised treatments with direct feedback.
  • Integration of Classical & Modern – See how Kiiko blends the wisdom of Japanese masters (Nagano, Kawai, Manaka) with contemporary pathophysiology for long-lasting results.
  • Earn CEUs – Qualify for continuing education credits through a dynamic, practical curriculum.

For Whom?

Certified acupuncturists who wish to work in a palpation-based way. Some prior experience with Kiiko Matsumoto Style is helpful, but not required.

One day Focus on Gynaecology

Kiiko Matsumoto’s approach to gynaecological health is both classical and modern. She will demonstrate her most effective palpation-based techniques for menstrual disorders, PCOS, infertility, hormonal imbalances, and pelvic pain. Abdominal palpation (hara diagnosis) reveals the true root of issues such as blood stagnation, qi deficiency, or organ dysfunction. Treatments prioritise comfort and precision, using minimal, non-invasive needling while achieving profound results. You will see how to create lasting change by balancing qi, blood, and organ function in a way that supports healthy cycles and hormonal harmony at all life stages.

One day Focus on Oncology

Oncology acupuncture is a rapidly growing field, recognised in leading medical journals. Many cancer patients seek acupuncture for symptoms like:
• Xerostomia (dry mouth)
• Nausea
• Low white blood cell count
• Fatigue
• Pain

Acupuncture and Chinese herbs often help significantly, but what if patients don’t respond as expected? Kiiko’s palpation-based system helps determine how much root vs. branch treatment to apply, how to monitor progress, and how to adapt to each patient, regardless of your base acupuncture style.

So, is this a course in Japanese acupuncture?

Yes and no. Kiiko Matsumoto studied and graduated in Japan, and her main influences are from Japanese teachers. However, she has an extraordinary knowledge of the classics and the ability to demonstrate her interpretation of the Su Wen, Ling Shu, and Nan Jing directly on the patient. This unique combination of traditional mastery and modern application makes her teaching both deeply rooted and highly practical.

Teaching Style

This is not a traditional theoretical course.
Kiiko teaches exactly as she practises in her Boston clinic, treating real patients, showing her thought process and point selection in real time. Every patient is unique, and there are no fixed protocols. This means you will leave with practical, directly applicable techniques you can start using in your own clinic immediately.

Why This Workshop?

Kiiko’s seminars across Europe (London, Germany, Switzerland, Israel) are in high demand. Her palpation-based acupuncture inspires both dedicated KMS practitioners and those integrating her methods into their own style. Every workshop offers new points, strategies, and ideas to apply to challenging cases.

Will I Learn Something New if I’ve Trained with Kiiko Before?

Absolutely. Kiiko continually researches and develops new techniques each year. Returning participants always leave with fresh insights and new clinical tools.
